The Border Servant Corps:
-hosts full-time volunteers to work and serve in social service agencies in the Las Cruces / El Paso / Juarez area.
-provides opportunities for the volunteer to learn and teach about social justice, work toward systemic change, and advocate on behalf of others.
-supports volunteers who live in intentional community, live simply, and seek to grow spiritually.
-rejoices in the richness of diversity as expressed in various lifestyles, ages, cultures, political involvement, educational experiences, and faiths.
-invites volunteers to support, affirm, challenge, encourage, and care for one another in a community living setting. |
